We are always accepting donations at The Rarden Daily Bread. Our organization relies on the generosity of the community, so every donation makes a difference. None of the money donated goes into the pockets of our volunteers or board members. For every $1 donated for meals, we are able to turn it into $5.47 of worth supplies to feed families. So, if you donate $100, you are actually donating $547.
If you would prefer to donate money specifically for obtaining food-related items, please specify it in your donation message in Paypal. If you would prefer to donate money specifically for obtaining residence in a new building, please specify it in your donation message in Paypal. If you have no preference to where the money will go, you can include that in the donation message, as well. Additionally, if you would prefer to keep your donation anonymous, specify it during your donation and your name will never be given. You can donate via PayPal ™, checks, and cash.
The Rarden Daily Bread Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 85-0519557). All donations are tax-deductible where allowed by the law.
Our general goal is to ensure that any person we are able to reach is able to have a meal. With the help of donations, we are able to make sure that we never have to turn away a hungry family.
However, a specific goal that we have is to gain residence in a new building. Currently, we are using Rarden’s Community Center. This disallows other residents to use the center and puts a choke-hold on our food production due to the limited kitchen space. With a new building, we will be able to free the center up and make food significantly faster. We have already bought the building, however renovations are needed in order to create the commercial-sized kitchen that is needed for the swiftly growing population of recipients for our charity. The hours saved by a larger kitchen would allow us to focus on aiding our community further and better.
